Time difference between Brasília and Sydney
To convert, take Brasília time and add 14 hours; when the sum passes midnight, the date in Sydney is already the next day. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Sydney is 22:00 (previous day) in Brasília, and local midnight is 10:00 (previous day) in Brasília. Because Sydney is ahead, its calendar date is one day later than in Brasília from 10:00 until midnight Brasília time. Keep this in mind for deadlines, flights and anything scheduled around the start or end of a day.

Best time to call Sydney from Brazil
With a difference of 14 hours, the 9:00 to 18:00 working days do not overlap at all. The least inconvenient slot is around 18:00 in Brasília, which is 08:00 (next day) in Sydney: one side will be early or late, so agree in writing who takes the awkward hour. Messages and recorded updates work better than live calls here.
